_{Lol I normally hate Chicago-ian Holidays, but this day was the best xD

Just got back from seeing 'Where the Wild Things Are' with . Holy. jdfkjds. That movie was absolutely perfect in -every- way. Spike Jones directed everything perfectly, from the way the scenes were shot, to having Max played just perfectly. God. The Wild Things are so cool. I love KW. She's squishable. fksl. I was so happy with the result of the movie. Everything was like...fantastic. Just awesome.

xD And the funny part is I never even read the books.

But it was so totally worth it. The voices matched the characters so well. And I cried so much near the end xD

I recommend everyone go see it. Seriously. <edit> SO DISCUSS IT IF YOU HAVE AN OPINION ON IT.

Also, go to Applebee's if the nearest Chili's is 60 miles away for steak. I like steak.

well i'm not going to see it so there! well, to be honest i'm not gonna see it cos it's not out here, dang you americans and stealing all the movies before they can get to here *waves fist in the air* just out of curiosity, how long ago did Up, district 9 and astro boy come out there? because they only came out here last week

_{LOL. Okay. District 9 came out a month ago. Up came out in July. And Atro Boy hasn't come out yet, though I hope it doesn't.

Word of warning: district 9 was filmed similar to Cloverfield, so if you get motion sickness from shaky cameras, the first half of the movie will kill you. Totally killed me.}

i've already seen district nine and thought it was brilliant! i mean i thought it started off a little slow, but the story was really interesting and well, everything was perfect, the whole cloverfield effect never really got to me, I don't get motion sick too easily, cept maybe when i'm in the back seat of my brothers car (his driving is scary.. :S) the only thing that i thought people might get a little iffy about is the level of gore, and i thought "well if they can look past that they can enjoy it" didn't think of the motion sickness aspect..
